I think I’m gonna try this tomorrow night when my church small group meets. Sounds like a perfect summer dessert on a warm evening. Thank for all of the comments! It sure helps me when I have to substitute or when no one can get a recipe to turn out correctly. I like these old fashioned desserts! Thanks for sharing! 💕🧁💕🍨 💕🍮 💕
PB Better than Woolworth Lemon dessert. 2 c. Graham crumbs + 1/3 c butter (+2/3 stick) , Base: 1/2 Lrg CoolWhip & 3 tbsp lemon..., 1 c water for lemon jello, 1 1/2 c milk for Lemon Pudding & add 1-2 tbsp lemon. Keep crumbs for topping in separate container to keep cruncy
This was a big hit. My only issue was with the vanilla pudding as it reduced the lemon flavour of the lemon pie filling. I added fresh squeezed lemon and grated some lemon rind and that improved it. Next time I will omit the vanilla pudding and double the lemon pudding instead.
This dessert was the bomb!!! Everyone loved it! I used lemon flavored cookies for the crust, and I added lemon zest to the first layer. I took the advice from one comment and used two boxes of lemon flavored pudding mix rather than one lemon and one vanilla. I can’t wait to make it again! Thanks for sharing!
This was a really good recipe! I couldn't get it to cut as pretty as it is in the pic to show the layers, but it was very tasty.
I agree that the vanilla pudding took away from the lemon taste Also too much cool whip and more crumb layer next time.
it's certainly a good dessert but it's not a vintage recipe, so stop putting the word "vintage" everywhere
This isn’t lasagna. It’s a layered dessert. Huge difference.
"Lasagna". The lack of vocabulary 😒🙄
